The British No 1 earned a comeback victory to defeat Gael Monfils and win the European Open in Antwerp, becoming the first new British men's champion since Andy Murray 12 years ago.
The 23-year-old reached the third rounds of the French Open and Wimbledon before finishing the season in strong fashion after a first round exit at the US Open.
Edmund will aim to continue his progression in the men's game in 2019 by aiming for the world's top 10 having finished the campaign at an equal career-high of world No 14.
