Karen Khachanov completed his 2018 season in fine fashion as he delivered a brilliant performance to defeat Novak Djokovic in the Paris Masters final.
The giant Russian underlined his burgeoning credentials against the biggest names in the game to deservedly end Djokovic's 22-match winning run and claim his maiden Masters 1000 title.
Khachanov, 22, also pushed Rafael Nadal and Alexander Zverev in thrilling five-set encounters at the US Open and French Open respectively.
Victory in the French capital saw him become the first Russian since Nikolay Davydenko in 2009 to win a Masters title and was his third title of the season.
He had previously triumphed in Marseille and Moscow and is now on the cusp of breaking into the world's top 10 for the first time.
