Kirk Triplett leads Kenny Perry by one shot at US Senior Open

Kirk Triplett will take a narrow one-shot lead over Kenny Perry into the final round of the US Senior Open.

Perry and Triplett were in a share of the lead heading down the 18th fairway at Salem Country Club but Triplett, who has five Champions Trophy victories, made par to hold the lead as Perry had to settle for bogey.
Brandt Jobe fired the round of the day carding an eight-under-par 62 to propel him up the leaderboard and into third place but a full six shots behind the leader.
Fred Couples is in a tie for fourth place alongside compatriot Tom Lehman after both Americans finished at seven-under par following third-round 70s.
Bernhard Langer, who won the Senior PGA Championship in May, only managed to card a two-over par 72 to move back to six-under par.
American Steve Flesch is at the same mark following an impressive five-under par 65 saw him jump into a tie for sixth place.
Paul Broadhurst, who is the leading British player following Saturday's third round, posted a one-over par 71 to move back to five-under for the event.
