Wrapping up the Man Utd transfer news, rumours and gossip in the 2022 summer window.
Manchester United are "waiting" for Feyenoord left-back Tyrell Malacia to approve a move to Old Trafford after the Dutch club confirmed a fee had been agreed.
United have accelerated their interest in Malacia in an attempt to beat Lyon to a deal in the region of £13million.
Feyenoord director Frank Arnesen confirmed United's late attempt to gazump Lyon to the signing of the Netherlands international, telling 1908NL: "The agreement with Man United is there. We are now waiting for Tyrell.
"If Malacia says yes, then a transfer to Manchester United is imminent".
Erik ten Hag had heavily scouted the 22-year-old as Ajax head coach, appreciating his speed, positional awareness, high interception rate, and ability to attack space.
Manchester United are close to agreeing a deal with Barcelona for midfielder Frenkie de Jong.
Sky Sports News has been told the clubs have a "broad agreement" on the fee - believed to be €65m (£56m) plus performance-related add-ons.
Discussions continue over the finer details of the deal.
There is still work to do but there appears an increased confidence a deal can be struck with personal terms not expected to be a problem.
Manchester United United also remain hopeful of signing Denmark international Christian Eriksen.
A deal is on the table with Eriksen's representatives - the final decision rests with the player himself.
Sky Sports News has reported Eriksen will choose between United and Brentford.
Meanwhile, United remain interested in Ajax defender Lisandro Martinez and Ajax winger Antony.
Both were regulars under Ten Hag at Ajax.
While central defence is not currently a priority position, United are looking at ways to improve in every area of the pitch.
Fulham have made an offer for Manchester United midfielder Andreas Pereira.
Sky Sports News have been told the bid is around an initial £8 million with add-ons.
Pereira spent last season on loan at Flamengo and is not part of Erik ten Hag's plans ahead of the new season.
Cristiano Ronaldo is not for sale and Manchester United expect him to remain at Old Trafford, despite reports linking the Portugal star with a sensational move to Chelsea.
United's failure to qualify for the Champions League and lack of signings so far this summer has led to reports that Ronaldo may want to leave.
His agent Jorge Mendes met Chelsea's new co-owner Todd Boehly last week and Ronaldo was mentioned during the meeting, but new United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed that Ronaldo is part of his future plans.
Ronaldo returned to United last summer, 12 years after originally leaving the club for Real Madrid, and netted 24 goals in 38 games to finish as the club's top scorer in all competitions.
Portuguese football expert Pedro Sepulveda to Sky Sports:
"When the transfer window is open, it's normal that we talk about Cristiano Ronaldo. Manchester United are not in the Champions League next season and Ronaldo is unhappy about this.
"He is completely obsessed with playing in the competition so he's not living well with the reality that he's not going to be playing in it in the immediate future.
"He's spoken to his agent Jorge Mendes, who is seeing if there are any other options. He said he would speak to the clubs who are targeting winning the Champions League to see what could be done in terms of a change in this summer transfer window.
"You can forget the English clubs - Manchester City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham - as I'm 100 per cent sure Ronaldo will not play for another club in England, while Ronaldo doesn't fit into the new project at PSG."
West Ham United have made an offer to Jesse Lingard's representatives over signing the player on a free transfer.
Lingard officially becomes a free agent on July 1 following the expiration of his Manchester United contract.
Lingard had a successful loan spell at West Ham in the second half of the 2020/21 season when he scored nine goals in 16 Premier League starts.
Nottingham Forest have agreed a deal with Manchester United to sign Dean Henderson on loan for the 2022/23 season.
The deal will not include an option for Forest, who were promoted back to the Premier League via the play-offs last season, to buy the England international.
Henderson's United deal expires in 2025 after he signed a new five-year contract in 2020.
Christian Eriksen is understood to be making a decision over whether to join Manchester United or stay at Brentford.
Both clubs have made him offers - but United's is thought to be more financially lucrative.
